Standard Mental Health First Aid Course

Sometimes, we can feel out of our depth and not confident that we have the skills to provide initial support to someone who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.

We are trained and are Licensed by Mental Health First Aid Australia to teach this practical course so you can feel confident.

The Standard Mental Health First Aid course, authored by Mental Health First Aid Australia, will teach you how to provide initial support to other adults who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan. This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.

Your course accreditation is valid for 3 years, so just like First Aid accreditation, you can let everyone know you're officially accredited as a Mental Health First Aider. And, you'll have the tools to feel more confident to help.
